Description
Private lessons or private group
Private lessons offer the flexibility to build your own learning program. You can book private lessons by themselves or you can add them to your group course. The price is the same for one or two people which means that you can share the costs with another person. You would have to bring the second person though. Why not pair up with your classmates from the group course? The classtimes can be agreed and can be anytime between 08.00am and 20.00pm from Monday to Friday.
The price is the same for 1 student as for 2 students with one private teacher. It is also possible to create an own private group with 3 or 4 students.
What will I learn?
As you will be studying in a school accredited by Instituto Cervantes you will be learning according to the syllabus of the Instituto Cervantes. No matter if you take an intensive course in Ibiza, evening classes, online classes or any other course format we offer.
How much of the course outline will be covered in your course, depends on the duration and the intensity of your course. It shows you what you learn on each level and gives you an idea how the different levels of A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 are structured.

Frequently asked questions
Your teacher will adapt the class to your personal learning objectives. If you want to use a book or if the teachers thinks it is a good mean to reach your objectives, we will use a book for your class. The teacher will tell you which and where to purchase it.
Before we start, we will ask you for a detailed description of your learning objective and your current level of Spanish. If necessary, we will take a level test with you. Based on this, our teachers establish a learning plan and choose the best learning materials for you.
No. Students of any age can have classes.
According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the syllabus of the Instituto Cervantes, there is a relatively exact description of the contents of each language level. As an accredited language school, we teach all contents in a structured manner and with a practical approach. Please click on Levels and Objectives to see how many hours you need per level.
Yes. Private lessons are suitable for any level. For beginners starting from scratch as well as for learners with already existing knowledge of Spanish.
The Instituto de Idiomas Ibiza uses course books according to the Instituto Cervantes developed especially for intensive course in Spain. Yes, this is possible. The price per hour is 37,50€ (25% surcharge) instead of 30€ per hour and we will have to charge you the travel time by the same price per hour. It would be for example if it takes 30 minutes to get to the house/hotel, that we charge another hour to come and go. The school is obliged to pay the extra to the teachers when working outside the usual work premises and the travel time on top. We sincerely hope that you understand this. In Ibiza the travel expenses can’t be counted by distance because it depends very much on the roads in the area. So the price varies depending on where the house or hotel is located. We just need the exact address or location and we will confirm it to you. Please contact us before booking this option.
If you wish so, yes. We will adapt your private lessons to your schedule. While homework assignments are a wonderful way to progress even while you are not in class with your teacher, there is no obligation. We will ask you if you want homework or not.
