The Instituto de Idiomas Ibiza selects
host families carefully and
inspects them regularly. This
accommodation type allows you a
detailed insight into Spanish
life style. Here you will experience
directly how the Spaniards
organize their daily lives.

All our host families are within
a 1-15 minutes walk from the school.
Host families may be found in many different constellations: families with father,
mother and child, single mothers with children, couples without children, etc..

Therefore, it may be that this accommodation is a single household. The experience
of the Spanish lifestyle remains the same.

Unless agreed differently, you will get a single room including breakfast. Linen will be
provided to you and you can use the washing machine 1 x per week. A private
bathroom and ironing service is usually not available, but maybe it can be agreed
with the family. This would be exactly what makes the homestay experience
particularly valuable!
In order to organize everything right and well, we always need your exact arrival and
departure dates in advance. Please provide this information in your inscription form
or call the host family directly. The family will be happy to await you at the expected
time. This is very important in order to make sure someone is at home when you arrive.

Tip: Host families are suitable for those who are open to other cultures and are
willing to learn about a different way of life. In Ibiza town the most typical way of
living is in an apartment block. Sometimes the apartment size or the size of the
room are not as the ones you might know from your home country. This is the most
intensive way of learning Spanish and learning about the Spanish way of life.
