D.E.L.E. - Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera
The Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE) are official qualifications accrediting the level of competence in the Spanish language, granted by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain.
The DELE considers all variants of Spanish which are valued equally for the diploma.
The DELE Diplomas are internationally recognized, and enjoy great prestige, not only between public and private institutions and educational authorities but also in the business world and among chambers of commerce. They are a credit to the evaluation and assessment of language skills in Spanish.
In many countries, DELE have been adopted by educational authorities and formal education centers to supplement their own testing programs. They are suitable for promotion opportunities and access to education in Spain and in other countries where the tests are taken.
